OUR HISTORY

RAK ENTERTAINMENT & PROMOTION,1993

In 1993, a visionary husband and wife duo founded RAK Entertainment and Promotion, and since then, the company has evolved to meet the dynamic needs of the event industry. Flourishing into a thriving family business, RAK now comprises a dedicated team of seven, including their five sons. With a legacy spanning over 31 years, RAK Entertainment stands as a beacon of excellence in event management, continuously setting new standards and redefining creativity.


Specializing in comprehensive event solutions, RAK Entertainment & Promotion offers a wide array of services, including sound systems, lighting arrangements, staging setups, truss systems, canopy installations, inauguration gimmicks, and audio-video requirements. From grand launches to corporate events, our expertise spans various event types, tailored to meet each client's unique specifications.

RAK BARAQAH,2019

Our commitment to customer satisfaction has earned us esteemed partnerships, including being appointed as a service provider and contractor for Tenaga Nasional Berhad, alongside serving numerous esteemed companies and government bodies throughout Malaysia.


In 2019, RAK Entertainment & Promotion embarked on a transformative journey by embracing Shariah-compliant practices to align our operations with Islamic principles. This strategic decision underscores our dedication to ethical conduct and opens doors to new opportunities in Islamic events. In honor of this transformation, we changed our company name to RAK Baraqah. For us, integrity and accountability are paramount. By adopting Shariah-compliant practices, we ensure that every facet of our business adheres to Islamic ethics, from procurement to execution.

As of 2024, we proudly carry forward our traditions under the name RAK Legacy, showcasing the enduring strength of our family business. Abdul Rahim Bin Abdul Kadir

Abdul Rahim Bin Abdul Kadir's entrepreneurial journey began with a wealth of experience in event management in the picturesque setting of Genting Highlands. Driven by a shared vision, he embarked on the remarkable venture of establishing his own company alongside his wife. While he spearheaded operations outside, his wife efficiently managed the office, exemplifying a harmonious partnership rooted in dedication and hard work to provide for their family.


Their relentless pursuit of excellence led to the cultivation of enduring client relationships and the formation of lifelong friendships within the industry. Recognizing the importance of legacy and continuity, Abdul Rahim Bin Abdul Kadir actively involved his sons in the business from a young age, providing them with invaluable exposure and instilling in them the virtues of diligence and perseverance.


Through his nurturing guidance, he has not only raised five industrious children but also groomed them into integral pillars of the company, ensuring its sustainable growth and success for generations to come.

Nuraini Binti Saad

  Nuraini Binti Saad is the co-founder of RAK Entertainment. Her unwavering dedication and multifaceted role have made her the cornerstone of both the company and her family. From overseeing office operations to managing finances and paperwork, she seamlessly balances numerous responsibilities. 


Transitioning from her day job to join her husband full-time, Nuraini exemplifies resilience and adaptability. Despite the demands of entrepreneurship, she prioritizes her family, raising five sons while navigating the challenges of business ownership. 


Nuraini's steady presence and strength serve as the anchor, earning her the title of the company's most indispensable figure. She embodies the quiet strength and determination that sustains both her family and their business through every trial and triumph.

Ahmad Afanddy Bin Abdul Rahim

  

Stage Manager & Supervisor


As the Stage Manager and Supervisor, Affandy plays a pivotal role in every aspect of stage production. He orchestrates every aspect of the stage performance from inception to curtain call. Always on his feet, he's the one ensuring seamless transitions, orchestrating stage setups, and expertly guiding performers on and off the stage. In addition to his meticulous attention to the show's flow, Affandy oversees logistics with precision. He ensures that no equipment is left behind or forgotten, swiftly coordinating with our warehouse to retrieve any necessary items. With his dedication and expertise, Affandy ensures that every performance is a flawless production.

Ahmad Affney Bin Abdul Rahim

  

  

Senior Sound Technician, Venue Manager & Inventory coordinator


 While he may not be the eldest son, Affney is the first to join our family business. As our Senior Sound Technician and Venue Manager, he meticulously assesses each space, ensuring optimal room layout and electrical configuration for efficient equipment setup, including speakers and other audio gear. Ahmad takes charge of orchestrating the sound system setup, meticulously fine-tuning every element to ensure that sound and acoustics permeate the room, delivering an awe-inspiring auditory experience for every event. From his command post at the control station, he conducts the show with precision, flawlessly delivering audio that captivates audiences without a hint of disturbance or imperfection; Affney ensures that every sound resonates with brilliance, making each occasion truly memorable. Additionally, in his role as Inventory Coordinator, he manages and organizes warehouse inventory, ensuring seamless logistics for events and operations. 

Ahmad Afrey Bin Abdul Rahim

  

Event Coordinator & Senior Lighting Technician


Afrey is the driving force ensuring seamless operations during each event. As our Event Coordinator and Lighting Technician, he meticulously plans every detail to perfection. From determining the ideal placement of lighting to creating a captivating ambiance tailored to each occasion, afrey’s keen eye for detail transforms ordinary spaces into extraordinary settings. His exceptional communication skills facilitate smooth interactions with clients, ensuring their visions are brought to life flawlessly. Additionally, he efficiently relays important instructions to the team, ensuring a harmonious flow throughout the event. With his dedication and expertise, Afrey elevates every event into an unforgettable experience.

Graphic Designer & Lighting Technician


Although he is not the last son,Afiq is the latest addition to our family business, and his arrival is nothing short of transformative. Armed with a college education in graphic design, Afiq brings a wealth of expertise to the table, particularly in crafting captivating launching videos that leave lasting impressions. As our dedicated Graphic Designer and Lighting Technician, Afiq operates from the heart of the action, stationed at the controlling station alongside his brothers, where they orchestrate mesmerizing light and sound displays that enhance every moment. Afiq’s role extends beyond where he ensures the seamless flow of production during the events. He ensures that all necessary equipment is precisely where it needs to be, guaranteeing smooth transitions and flawless performance. 

Ahmad Azfar Bin Abdul Rahim

  

  

Event Consultant, Audio-Visual Specialist, IT Expert & Financial Manager


  

Azfar is the go-to authority for event consultancy, audio-visual excellence, and IT proficiency. Clients rely on his expertise to streamline the flow of their events, ensuring smooth transitions and captivating experiences from start to finish. As an Audio-Visual Specialist, Azfar takes command of every aspect of sound and visual presentation, orchestrating flawless outputs and smooth transitions. With an acute understanding of event dynamics, he curates music playlists that perfectly complement the atmosphere, tailoring selections to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client. Azfar’s mastery extends to the digital realm, where he serves as an IT Expert, adeptly managing live streaming and online integration for events. Azfar ensures that every digital aspect of the event runs smoothly, enhancing connectivity and engagement for all attendees. With Azfar at the helm, events are not just occasions but immersive experiences, diligently crafted to exceed expectations and leave lasting impressions. Additionally, as a Financial Manager, Azfar oversees the financial aspects of events, ensuring budget adherence and financial success.
